Leif Vogt has been strengthening the Cribb team since January 2026 and brings 8 years of experience in management and executive search consulting.
In his career to date, he has supported companies in filling demanding key positions, taking responsibility for structured search processes. His focus is on data-driven decisions, clear processes, and a deep understanding of people, organisations, and their development.
How did you get into executive recruitment?
My entry into executive search was a mix of chance and a conscious decision. During my studies—after semesters abroad in the USA and China—I had my first points of contact with the industry. In 2015, I started as an intern and later stayed on as a working student. I quickly realised how well working with people and an entrepreneurial view of organisations suited me. What began as a side stop became a clear professional direction quite quickly.
What do you love about your work?
Quite clearly: the impact. I am motivated by supporting companies through growth phases and filling roles that make a real difference. I particularly value the exchange with a wide range of personalities and the deep understanding of business models, cultures, and visions for the future. When a placement enables transformation, has a lasting effect, and creates tangible added value, it feels exactly right.
What distinguishes Cribb?
Cribb stands for agility, quality, and a genuine pioneering spirit. The combination of technological strength, clear processes, and personal advisory support is something special to me. Added to that is a strong early-adopter mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit that is consistently lived in day-to-day work.
Who inspires you?
I am inspired by people who actively drive change. Individuals who challenge the status quo, rethink things, and shape transformation—whether in start-ups, large corporations, or the mid-market.
Which digital innovation has changed the world in your view over the last 10 years?
For me, it is above all the interplay of artificial intelligence, social media, remote work, and the enormous availability of data. This combination has not only changed ways of working, but also decision-making processes, communication, and expectations—both on the company side and the candidate side.
What is the next big thing in your view?
I believe in an even closer integration of technology, data, and human decision-making capability. This will have major implications, especially in recruiting and leadership. If data is used even more intelligently and combined with human judgement, decisions can become significantly better, faster, and more sustainable. Overall, I view this development very positively.
Personal motto?
Stay open to change, recognise opportunities, and create real added value—with empathy, loyalty, and a clear commitment to building trusting relationships and delivering an excellent customer experience.
What is the best way to reach you?
Very simply: via whichever channel works best for the other person—whether by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email or LinkedIn.
